Our Affiliations
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
of Athens
Our group is affiliated with The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
of Athens. As part of our "give back" to the UUFA community,
we run UU adult curriculums, organize and hold Sunday morning services
at the church, and take care of the fellowship's wood pile. (There is
a fabulous fireplace in the church!)
Circle of Gaia Dreaming covenants to affirm and promote the principles of the Unitarian Universalist Assoication namely:
· the inherent worth and dignity of every person;
· justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
· acceptance of one another and encouragement of spiritual growth in our congregation;
· a free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
· the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregation and in society at large;
· the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
· respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
CUUPS, Inc.
We used to be affiliated with CUUPS, Inc., (our original name being
Athens Area CUUPS) but have since let that affiliation lapse. We may reaffiliate
sometime in the future.
